About the roleAs an AWS Cloud Administrator, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with your manager, engineering and operations teams, security and compliance stakeholders, and client representatives.In this role, you will:Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practicesDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment across environmentsManage and monitor cloud infrastructure, respond to incidents, and automate operational tasks to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiencyConduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis, and lead remediation and patching programs to strengthen cloud security postureMaintain compliance with Australian regulatory and security requirements, including the ASD Essential Eight and the Information Security Manual (ISM),



and perform compliance reviews and security governance activities using cloud-native and third-party security toolsWhat you need to have to be consideredExtensive hands-on expertise administering AWS cloud infrastructure (or another major cloud platform such as Azure or GCP), including secure, scalable, and highly available designsStrong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or AnsibleHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub ActionsDemonstrated experience performing vulnerability assessments, security audits, risk analysis, and remediation, including patch managementWorking knowledge of Australian security and regulatory frameworks, including the ASD Essential Eight and the ISMThese will help you stand outRelevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps EngineerFamiliarity with DevSecOps practicesExperience managing compliance reviews and security governance programs in regulated environmentsTrack record of identifying security gaps and leading proactive, continuous security improvement initiativesFamiliarity with cloud security best practices across multi-account or enterprise-scale AWS environmentsWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
