About our client and the role

Our client is a respected Australian supplier of dental equipment and medical products, based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

They are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Warehouse Assistant to join the team for the long term. The role centres on picking, packing and dispatching sensitive medical supplies, where getting every order right really matters. Full training is provided, and you'll also learn stock receipting, purchasing and front-office skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurate picking, packing and dispatching of orders: the right product, size and quantity, every time

• Handling sensitive dental and medical products with care

• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound goods

• Receiving, checking and recording local and international stock

• Storing products safely in the right locations, with correct labelling and packaging

• Resolving any damage, quantity or quality issues with inbound or outbound goods

• Regular stock checks and stocktakes





• Prompt dispatch of requests from the sales team

• Back-up support with deliveries when required

• Learning stock management, including receipting, ordering and purchasing

• Helping in the front office from time to time, including invoicing and sales

To be considered

• Reliable and committed. This is essential.

• Strong attention to detail. You can stay focused on detailed, repetitive work and take pride in getting it right.

• Able to lift up to 20–25 kg comfortably

• Current driver's licence

• A team player with valuable communication skills

• Warehouse experience is preferred.

• No forklift licence required

• Full working rights in Australia
