We are partnering with a highly regarded professional services firm seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to take ownership of client relationships, oversee a portfolio of clients and play an important role in the development of a team.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the practice while continuing to develop your technical, commercial and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and business advisory services.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
- Provide technical guidance and advice on complex accounting and taxation matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Manage workflow, deadlines and team performance.
- Review work prepared by junior and intermediate accountants, providing mentoring and guidance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
- Work closely with Partners and senior leadership on client and business matters.

About You




To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- CA or CPA qualification.
- Several years' experience within a public practice or professional services environment.
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio.
- Strong technical knowledge across accounting and taxation.
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A genuine interest in developing people and building client relationships.
