Physiotherapists | Paediatric & Generalist Roles
Adelaide, Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu Peninsula | Permanent Part-Time or Casual | Flexible Hours
Love physio, people and a bit of variety?
Come join our growing Outreach Physiotherapy SA team!
We’re looking for two Physiotherapists who want interesting work, genuine flexibility and a role that can fit around life.
We have two opportunities available:
- Paediatric Physiotherapist - for someone who loves working with kids, or would like to develop their skills and confidence in paediatrics.
- Generalist Physiotherapist - for someone who enjoys variety and working with adults across disability, neurological, rehabilitation, aged care and community physiotherapy.
Both roles can be permanent part-time or casual. We’re flexible and happy to chat about what works for you.
So, what does working with Outreach look like?
We’re a mobile and community-based physiotherapy service, so you won’t spend every day sitting in the same clinic room.
You’ll work with clients where life actually happens- at home, at school and out in the community.
Our clients are located across Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula, and where possible, we’ll work with you to build a caseload that makes sense for your location, availability and interests.
The Paediatric Role
Love working with kids? This one might be for you.
Your caseload may include children with developmental delay, autism, cerebral palsy, neurological and genetic conditions, coordination difficulties and other developmental or physical disabilities.
Sessions are practical, functional and play-based. You might be working on gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, gait, mobility, equipment or simply helping a child participate more confidently in everyday activities.
Already an experienced paediatric physio? Amazing!
Interested in paediatrics but still building your experience? We’d still love to hear from you.
The Generalist Role
Prefer a bit of everything? Our generalist role offers plenty of variety.
You’ll primarily work with adults across community and disability physiotherapy, including people with neurological and autonomic conditions, mobility limitations, falls risk, deconditioning, amputations and complex physical disabilities.
Your day might include rehabilitation, graded exercise and activity prescription, falls prevention, mobility assessment, equipment prescription or helping someone become more confident and independent in their home and community.
And if you’re a generalist physio who thinks “I’d actually love to work with kids too” – great!
We can work together to build your paediatric skills and gradually introduce children into your caseload as your confidence and experience grow.
The flexibility bit
We know everyone’s version of the ideal work week looks a little different.
Maybe you want the consistency of a permanent part-time role.
Maybe you’re looking for casual hours alongside another job, family, study or other commitments.
Or maybe you just want a role where you have a little more say in how your week looks.
Let’s chat about it.
As our South Australian service grows, there’s also plenty of opportunity for your hours and role to grow with us.
You’ll have support
Community physio gives you lots of independence- but that doesn’t mean you’re on your own.
You’ll have access to experienced physiotherapists working across paediatrics, disability, neurological and community physiotherapy.
We’re big believers in asking questions, bouncing ideas around and talking through the tricky cases.
Nobody expects you to know everything.
We certainly don’t!
We want clinicians who enjoy learning and feel comfortable putting their hand up when they need another perspective.
What do you need?
- A recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
- Holds valid Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or an unrestricted working visa
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a current driver's licence and reliable car, National Police Check, Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Compassionate, fun, motivated, and enjoys working independently
- Valuable communication and organisational skills
- And if you don't mind making a reel for Instagram- That’s a bonus!
Experience in paediatrics, disability or community physiotherapy would be lovely, but you don’t need to tick every box.
We’re looking for people who are friendly, reliable, clinically curious and genuinely care about doing good work.
Why Outreach?
- Permanent part-time or casual - you choose what suits you
- Flexible working hours
- Paediatric or generalist caseloads
- Competitive remuneration + superannuation
- Clinical support and mentoring
- Autonomy over your working day
- Variety across homes, schools and community settings
- Opportunities to develop your skills in the areas that interest you
- A growing service where you can genuinely have input into how things develop
Sound like your kind of role?
Send us your CV and a short introduction telling us a little about yourself, which role interests you and what you’re looking for in your next physio job.
And if you’re reading this thinking “This sounds great, but I’m not sure I have enough experience…” – apply anyway.
We’d much rather have a chat than have the right person rule themselves out because they don’t tick every box.
