About the role
AGB is seeking a skilled Blocklayer and Labourer to join our dynamic team FIFO / DIDO Darwin/Alice Spirngs, NT.
Based in Alice Springs we are sourcing a Blocklayer and Labourer to join the team for rostered projects ranging from 2 - 3 weeks - fly home for a week (roster is example only and can be discussed with AGB on application). We have contracts in TENNANT CREEK, ALICE SPRINGS, DARWIN and other regions in the area. We DIDO from Alice Springs for these Projects as required. We are sourcing someone full time ongoing and already have work up until Christmas and possibly beyond.

- You must have the ability to work away - (an example roster is 3:1)
- Flights/bus depending on location may be paid by AGB one way or both depending on experience and proven reliability
- Meals supplied whilst out bush/work from home
- Paid all hours worked. Whilst working remotely hours range from 10 - 12hrs a day, with weekends worked where required.
- We are sourcing experienced Blockies and Labourers only, due to the nature of the work and remote locations
- Blocklayer is able to build corners with a level and lay neat double face block work.
- Labour is able to mix mud, set up and load scaffold and keep a tidy job site.
- Following safety protocols and contributing to a positive, team-oriented work culture.
- Assisting with any other tasks as required to support the team
- Must have a current work safety card and be able to work long hours in hot conditions.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a blocklayer or labourer, with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety procedures
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of remote work
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
- A team player with effective communication skills
- Current Open Drivers License
- White Card (Construction Card)
