Role Overview

This is a part time, flexible role, for someone who is happy to cover a variety of tasks at Lazybones HQ.

The Marketing, Warehouse & Production Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of Lazybones, reporting to the existing permanent staff. The role is 100% based at the warehouse in Ballina.

This hands-on role is responsible for making products and assisting with small-scale product creation such as sewing and making small batch giftware products.

This person will also pack and dispatching customer orders. As well as be receiving and storing stock, maintaining inventory accuracy.

In addition, this role will suit someone with some sales experience and have the ability to keep organic social media posts fresh and be proactive in providing new ideas for marketing and brand awareness.

We are developing plans to open a small shop as part of our warehouse, open to the public, and this role will be also responsible for helping to plan and operate the retail side of this.

Key Responsibilities





• Organic marketing posts on social media accounts, in line with the marketing plans and strategy.

• Proactive marketing ideas and initiatives to support marketing plan and strategy

• Retail sales and merchandising (when the shop is up and running)

• Sewing and product assembly: Create small-batch lifestyle products such as bath salts by following product recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines

• Prepare materials and components for production.

• Pick, pack, and dispatch online and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently

• Receive incoming stock and check deliveries against documentation

• Store stock neatly and logically within the warehouse

• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and updates

• Prepare orders for couriers and manage dispatch schedules

• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Advanced sewing skills

• Demonstrated ability in basic garment construction techniques

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Retail experience

• Excellent customer engagement and friendly manner

• Able to manually handle boxes of stock
