About the role

Reporting to the Construction Management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with approved documentation.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate residential and commercial construction projects from commencement through to practical completion.

- Manage subcontractors, trades, materials, deliveries and daily site activities.

- Monitor construction programmes, workmanship, quality, safety and project progress.

- Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.

- Conduct site inspections, coordinate relevant inspections and maintain accurate site records.

- Identify and communicate site issues, delays and potential variations to the Project Management team.

- Maintain qualified relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

About you

- Demonstrated experience supervising residential and/or commercial building projects.

- A strong trade background or relevant building and construction qualifications.

- Sound knowledge of building methods, construction sequencing, the NCC and applicable Australian Standards.

- Excellent communication, organisation and subcontractor management skills.

- The ability to interpret plans, identify construction issues and maintain high standards of workmanship.

- A current driver's licence and a commitment to workplace health and safety.





- Willingness to permanently reside in Esperance and undertake occasional short trips to the Goldfields region.
