Receptionist / Dental Assistant ?

We're North Orthodontics, a modern, fun and growing specialist orthodontic practice on the Sunshine Coast. We take our orthodontics seriously, but ourselves? Not so much!

We're looking for a Receptionist / Dental Assistant who's friendly, confident, organised and knows how to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is predominantly a reception role, with approximately one day per week spent assisting chairside. Perfect for someone who loves people, thrives on variety and isn't afraid of a little responsibility!

And because we like to mix things up, you'll also spend some time chairside, getting hands-on and helping create beautiful smiles!

The essentials ?

- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

- Alternate Saturdays: 7:45 am – 12:00 pm

- Location: 18/5 Innovation Parkway Birtinya

- Employment: Part-time

- Hourly rate: Based on experience

About the role ?

- Welcome & WOW: Deliver five-star customer service that makes every patient feel genuinely valued.

- Front Desk Superstar: Manage calls, appointments, emails and patient enquiries while keeping everything running like clockwork.

- Money Talks: Confidently explain treatment fees, deposits and payment plans with clarity and empathy.

- Problem Solver: Handle concerns and tricky conversations calmly, professionally and with a solutions-focused approach.





- Organisation Station: Keep patient records, paperwork and follow-ups accurate, organised and up to date.

- Chairside Sidekick: Spend approximately one day per week assisting the orthodontist, preparing equipment and maintaining infection control standards.

- Team Player: Anticipate what needs doing, take initiative and help the team deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Dental experience? Fantastic! No dental experience? That's okay too! If you've worked in hospitality, retail, administration or another customer-facing role, we'd love to hear from you. We can teach you orthodontics, but exceptional customer service and a great attitude are non-negotiable.
