We’re looking for Kitchen team members to join Ennui Restaurant in Haymarket.

Seeking experienced cooks and chefs at a Chef de Partie / Commis Chef level.

Ennui is a contemporary Modern Australian/French venue focused on thoughtful hospitality, seasonal cooking, and a carefully curated beverage program. We’re a small team that takes service seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. The Role

As part of our Kitchen team, you’ll be responsible for delivering delicious, technique driven food and helping maintain the quality and standards that makes Ennui special.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing various dishes to a consistently high standard

- Maintaining a clean and organised section

- Adhering to all Food Safety Legislation

- Working as part of the kitchen team during prep and service shifts





- Supporting the team to ensure smooth service

- Previous experience in a similar role

- Strong communication and people skills

- A genuine interest in food, wine, and hospitality

- Positive attitude and reliability

- Ability to work evenings and weekends
