Based in Unanderra, you'll be out and about servicing residential and commercial swimming pools across the Illawarra, helping customers keep their pools sparkling clean and running efficiently.

Whether you're an experienced pool technician or someone with a strong work ethic, practical skills and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Previous pool industry experience is highly regarded, but not essential. Full training can be provided to the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same! Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out scheduled swimming pool servicing, cleaning and maintenance.

- Testing and balancing pool water chemistry to ensure safe, crystal-clear water.

- Inspecting, troubleshooting and maintaining pool equipment, including pumps, filters, chlorinators and associated systems.

- Identifying equipment faults and assisting with repairs and replacements.

- Providing friendly, professional advice and outstanding customer service.

- Managing your daily service schedule efficiently and independently.

- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting any maintenance requirements.

- Ensuring all work is performed safely and to our high standards.

- Representing poolshop.com.au professionally while visiting customers throughout the Illawarra.

What We're Looking For





We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being hands-on and wants to become a valued member of our team.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A practical, mechanically minded approach to problem-solving.

- Confidence working independently and managing daily responsibilities.

- Good attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.

- The ability to work outdoors and undertake physical tasks.

- A current, valid driver's licence.

- A commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Previous experience in swimming pool servicing or maintenance.

- Knowledge of swimming pool water chemistry.

- Experience with pool pumps, filters, chlorinators and heating systems.

- Experience in plumbing, mechanical maintenance, electrical trades, landscaping or similar hands-on industries.
