About the role

We are looking for experienced and passionate Chefs and Sous Chefs to join our busy kitchen team at Local House Bar & Grill in Beeliar, WA. Our ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience working in a busy pub, restaurant or commercial kitchen, with a strong passion for food quality, consistency and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food to high standards during busy service periods

- Maintain food safety, hygiene and stock control

- Manage food costs, portion control and minimise wastage

- Lead and manage kitchen team, particularly for Sous Chef applicants

- Assist with menu development, ordering and kitchen operations

- Work weekends and evenings as required

About you

- Minimum 3 years of commercial kitchen experience





- Experience in high-volume pub or restaurant kitchens

- Strong food preparation, presentation and cooking skills

- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and stock control

- Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly for Sous Chef applicants

- Reliable and hardworking

- Relevant cookery qualifications preferred
