Internal Sales / Quotes Consultant - Hardware & Building Supplies

Our client is looking for a friendly, switched-on internal sales professional to join their team. If you enjoy helping customers find the right solution, building relationships over the phone and by email, and turning quote requests into happy repeat customers, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

You’ll be the first point of contact for trade & builder customers, preparing accurate, timely quotes and supporting them from enquiry through to order. You’ll work closely with the warehouse, yard and purchasing teams to make sure customers get what they need, when they need it.

What you’ll do
Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
Prepare, follow up and convert quotes for timber, hardware and building supplies
Process orders and keep customers updated on pricing, availability and delivery
Build robust relationships with new and existing customers




Work with the wider team to resolve queries quickly and keep things running smoothly
Maintain accurate customer records and quote pipelines

About you
Previous internal sales, quoting or customer service experience
A warm, personable communication style and a genuine desire to help
Valuable attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
Organised and able to juggle multiple quotes and priorities
Comfortable with computers and quoting or order systems
Timber, hardware or building industry experience is an advantage, but not essential. We’ll teach you the product.

$80,000 + Super

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Hours- no weekend work.
