About the company/role:
Plastics manufacturing company
Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
Seeking a QC Office to join the team on afternoon shift (3pm-11pm)
Casual contract, full time hours (Monday-Friday)
Potential to go permanent
Immediate start
Ideal for candidates looking to join QC in a technical environment that is not a traditional laboratory

Duties include, but not limited to:
Monitoring production processes through routine physical QC testing and visual inspections of products
Ensuring GMP standards are maintained within the production area
Reviewing, updating and writing relevant documentation
Assist in resolving customer complaints
Data entry into Microsoft Excel and SAP
Liaising with the internal stakeholders

Skills/experience required:
Tertiary education in Science or Engineering is ideal
Previous QC experience in food or plastics manufacturing environment
Previous experience with injection moulding machines/products is highly advantageous
Positive knowledge of GMP standards
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High attention to detail and robust initiative
