9-day fortnight - every second Friday off
$45 per hour + super + overtime

A leading Australian manufacturer of specialised heavy vehicles, seeking a reliable, hands-on Automotive Assembler to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive manufacturing workplace, assembling specialised vehicles and components.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assembling specialised heavy vehicles and vehicle components
Fitting and installing mechanical parts, equipment and accessories
Using hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
Following engineering drawings, assembly instructions and specifications
Assisting with fitting, wiring and installation of vehicle components
Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
Maintaining a clean, secure and organised work area
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet build schedules
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
Previous experience in automotive assembly, mechanical fitting, manufacturing or a similar role
Welding skills highly advantageous
Electrical skills or experience with vehicle wiring highly advantageous
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and willingness to learn
Hours & rates:
Hours: 9-day fortnight - every second Friday off
Rate: $45 per hour + super + overtime
Standard working hours apply, with overtime opportunities available when required.
