LifePulse Cardiology is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our specialist cardiology practice at the Mater Medical Centre, South Brisbane.

Led by Dr Aleksandra Lange and Dr Przemek Palka, LifePulse Cardiology provides specialist cardiovascular care with a focus on prevention, personalised treatment and high-quality cardiac imaging. We are committed to evidence-based medicine and ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their care.

We are offering a flexible employment opportunity, with either permanent part time or casual arrangements available along with competitive remuneration, negotiable based on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.

About the role

Working collaboratively with cardiologists, you will perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms across both outpatient and inpatient services.

Key responsibilities
Performing transthoracic echocardiograms with accurate image acquisition and measurements.




Maintaining clinical documentation and upholding patient privacy and confidentiality.
Applying sound clinical judgement and adhering to relevant clinical standards.
Working closely with our cardiologists and practice staff to support productive clinical services and positive patient experiences.

About you
A recognised qualification in Cardiac Sonography and current ASAR accreditation.
A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience performing echocardiography.
Strong technical skills in image acquisition, with sound clinical judgement and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a qualified and patient-centred approach.
Experience in stress echocardiography will be highly regarded but is not essential. Applicants without stress echocardiography experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience with Philips ultrasound systems an advantage.
Current Australian work rights.
