BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead our Arundel-based Gold Coast operations. About you :
Management experience essential
Trade qualified Diesel fitter/Diesel mechanic/LV Mechanic preferred but not essential
Experience with automotive workshops a bonus
Strong communication skills
Valuable people management skills
Proven record for leading a successful team
Ability to manage all aspects of the business effectively
Ability to lead continuous improvement and WH&S;
Proficient in the computer skills
Ability to drive business growth, cultivate new opportunities
Maintain positive customer relationships
The Position :
Day-to-day running of a mechanical business
Job Planning & Execution
Job planning including customer liaison
Assist in opening and closing job cards
Job tracking & reporting
Estimating and quoting
Client Relations
Ability to deal with internal and external clients
Team Leadership & Performance
Management of staff performance
Workshop safety management
Quality control and management
Willing to be hands-on and not afraid to be on the tools
