Goldstar Transport is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Technology & Innovation team in Kewdale WA
This role is responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing ICT infrastructure across our transport and logistics operations.

The role:
Install, configure, administer, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, virtual machines, and enterprise software.
Administer Windows Server and/or Linux settings, Microsoft Hyper-V and approved cloud infrastructure.
Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
Monitor system performance, capacity, security, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Manage user access, backups, recovery arrangements, and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot complex servers, network, application, and connectivity issues.
Support infrastructure changes, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.
Use PowerShell, Python, or other approved scripting tools to automate systems administration tasks.
Provide advanced technical support and work with vendors and ICT specialists as required.

You will ideally have:
A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology,



Information Systems, Network Engineering or a closely related computing discipline.
Demonstrated skilled experience administering enterprise server and operating system environments.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux, Active Directory, virtualization, networking, backup/recovery, patching and identity/access management.
Strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and change management.
Robust communication, documentation, and stakeholder-service skills.
PowerShell or Python scripting experience is desirable.
Microsoft Azure/Windows Server, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, ITIL v4 or AWS SysOps certifications are highly regarded.
A current C Class Driver's License where travel between sites is required.

Salary range is $75,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
