Clean and scrub benchtops, floors, cooking equipment, ovens, grills, and fryers.
Empty rubbish bins, handle food waste, and explicit recyclables.
Food Preparation Assistance:
Wash, peel, chop, and slice fruits and vegetables.
Assist chefs with basic ingredient portioning, assembling straightforward items like salads or sandwiches, and plating.
Heat, toast, or cook straightforward food items under supervision.
Stock and Deliveries:
Receive, unpack, check, and store food and equipment deliveries.
Rotate stock to maintain freshness and track inventory levels.
Restock work stations and service areas with clean plates, utensils, and ingredients.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow local food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.
Keep walkways, wet areas, and work zones clear of slip hazards.
