About the Role

Spartan Group of Companies is seeking a reliable, hands-on and motivated Yard Hand to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of a yard, with a focus on the maintenance and preparation of construction hoists, equipment and materials, as well as maintaining an organised and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the maintenance, servicing and preparation of construction hoists.
Cleaning, inspecting and maintaining hoist components and associated equipment.
Organising, sorting and preparing materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
Loading and unloading deliveries and organising incoming and outgoing stock.
Maintaining an orderly, clean and safe yard and workshop environment.
Assisting with equipment checks and general yard maintenance.
Identifying damaged or faulty equipment and reporting issues.
Ensuring materials and equipment are stored, maintained and readily accessible.
Providing general operational support to the wider Spartan team.

A forklift licence and driver's licence will be highly regarded.
