We're Hiring - Trade Assistant / Maintenance Technician

Austco Polar Cold Storage is a leading cold storage and logistics facility based in Laverton North. We are looking for a hands-on Trade Assistant / Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations.

This role will suit someone with practical maintenance experience who can work across a range of tasks and environments. Training will be provided for specialised areas (e.g. refrigeration), however we require a solid base level of hands-on experience. This is not an entry-level position.

Core Requirements - Essential
Experience using a wide range of hand and power tools
Exposure to general facilities maintenance (basic plumbing, building repairs, fault finding)
Robust mechanical aptitude
Understanding of OH&S; requirements
Electrical experience
EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence
Comfortable working at heights
Basic welding capability
