This role is ideal for someone with laboratory, metallurgy, mineral processing, or analytical testing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production workplace and contributing to operational performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Collect and prepare routine process samples from the plant.
Conduct laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with established procedures.
Perform wet and dry sizing analysis.
Complete heavy liquid separation testing.
Undertake sulphur, moisture,



and pH analysis.
Conduct X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis where required.
Accurately record and report results using the laboratory management system (CCLAS).
Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine calibration and housekeeping activities.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Support operational decision-making through the delivery of reliable analytical results.

About You
Previous experience working in a metallurgical, mineral processing, mining, industrial, or analytical laboratory environment.
Relevant qualifications in Laboratory Operations, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality results.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and manage varying workloads.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to maintaining high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Willingness and ability to work a rotating roster in a 24-hour operation.
