Jobplay is looking for experienced formwork carpenters for ongoing projects on sites between Kirra and Brisbane.

The rate is $55–$60 per hour depending on experience, with full time hours and a steady pipeline of work. [Monday to Friday / some Saturdays]

What you’ll be doing
Setting out, building and stripping formwork for slabs, columns, walls, beams and stairs
Working with conventional and system formwork
Installing edge protection, penetrations, cast-ins and set-downs
Working alongside steel fixers and concreters to keep pours on program
Keeping your work area protected and tidy, and following site WHS and SWMS

What you’ll need
Proven formwork experience: commercial, civil or high-rise preferred
White Card (General Construction Induction)
Your own hand tools
Able to read drawings and work to tolerance




Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in Queensland conditions
Reliable, on time, and able to work as part of a crew
Full working rights in Australia
Own reliable transport, since sites move between the Gold Coast and Brisbane

A bonus, not essential:
Cert III in Carpentry or Formwork/Falsework
Working at Heights, EWP (Yellow Card), dogging or rigging tickets
Leading hand experience
