We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Support Coordinator to join a large Queensland Government team based in Cannon Hill.
This role is responsible for leading a business support function, providing high-level support to senior management, overseeing a team of administration staff and driving business improvement initiatives across a complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support a team of business support staff
Provide high-level administrative support and advice to senior management
Coordinate and implement business improvement initiatives
Manage escalated customer enquiries and stakeholder matters
Monitor team performance and contribute to operational outcomes
Ensure compliance with business systems,
policies and procedures
Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision‑making
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Build and maintain robust stakeholder relationships
Support staff development through coaching, training and ongoing support
About You
Previous experience in a senior business support, administration or coordination role
Experience leading or supervising staff
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong data analysis and reporting capability
Experience driving process improvement initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a quick‑paced setting
Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
