Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for distribution projects
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documents
Complete quantity take-offs for labour, materials, plant and subcontractors
Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
Assist with pricing strategies, project planning and construction methodologies
Identify commercial risks and opportunities during tender preparation
Support bid submissions, clarifications and client responses
Liaise with engineering,



procurement and delivery teams throughout the tender process

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:
Experience as an Estimator, Junior Estimator or Project Engineer
Background in utilities, electrical construction or civil infrastructure
Exposure to electrical distribution network projects highly regarded
Understanding of overhead and underground electrical infrastructure
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
