Electronic Technician job based in Balcatta. The role is for 6 months and will pay up to $46ph + super.

A technology manufacturer for the mines requires an electronic technician for a 6-month role.

Your current role

The Electronic Technician carries out specific work tasks based on the product lifecycle, as follows:

Manufacturing and assembly of electronic parts and products, which includes:
Using basic hand tools - screwdriver, circlip, pliers, cutters
Soldering (ensuring fume extraction and pressure), crimping, wiring
Engraving
Part assembly using hands
Application of RTV silicone

Testing of electronic parts or products either prior to commissioning, or upon return from use, this involves:
Conducting visual checks for damage
Conducting polarity checks using multimeters
Conducting voltage checks utilising a variety of equipment such as oscilloscopes, battery analysers, power suppliers




Checking the charging functioning and capacity

Conducting repairs to damaged electronic parts or products:
Cleaning parts for ease of inspection using appropriate chemicals, including spray & wipe and ISO propylene
Unassembled larger products/parts to fix smaller components.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience is required in a similar role, including soldering experience.
