A well-established, privately owned group is looking for an Accountant to join its finance team. The business operates across a diverse portfolio of entities, with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on delivering outstanding outcomes. Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting across a portfolio of group entities
Manage the general ledger, reconciliations and month-end close for each entity
Prepare financial statements and support the annual audit process
Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
Support BAS, GST and tax compliance, and liaise with external accountants and auditors
Contribute to ad hoc projects and improvements to finance processes and controls

Experience:




Degree qualified in accounting or finance, with CA or CPA status (or progressing towards it)
Proven experience in funds management, investment accounting or multi-entity accounting
Experience across multiple entities, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Robust Excel skills and exposure to AI / streamlining process
Understanding of GST, BAS and tax compliance. (Not essential)
Solid attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
A proactive, self-motivated attitude and the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
Clear written and verbal communication
