Lubke Engineering is seeking TWO skilled steel fabricators to join our team based in Picola, VIC. As a fabricator, you will play a vital role in the manufacture, repair, and maintenance of a variety of steel structures. This is a full-time position, offering the prospect to work on a variety of projects from building sheds, machinery maintenance to 4x4 fabrication, to list a few.

What you'll be doing
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
Operating various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal components with high levels of precision and quality
Performing maintenance and repair work on existing earthmoving equipment, cattleyards and other steel structures
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the fabrication and installation process
Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to optimise workflow and identify potential process improvements

What we're looking for
Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Welder, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience
Strong technical skills in welding, metal fabrication,



and the interpretation of engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment, while also demonstrating the capacity to work independently
Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations, and a proven track record of safe work practices
Must have drivers licence
MUST HAVE Australian work rights preferable for this position
