A permanent trade assistant job in Newman paying $80,000 + super (NOT FIFO)

Your current company

My client is a market leader in the supply and recertification of earthmover wheels.

Your new role
Assist qualified tradespeople/technicians with wheel, rim and tyre-related workshop activities.
Help with inspection, maintenance and repair work on mining wheels and rims.
Use hand and power tools for basic trade and workshop tasks.
Prepare, move, load and unload wheels, rims, tyres, tooling and other equipment.
Assist with equipment and tool maintenance.
Set up equipment and work areas ready for jobs.
Carry out general labouring and workshop duties.
Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe, including end-of-job housekeeping.
Follow WHS procedures and protected working practices,



particularly important around large mining wheels, tyres and workshop equipment.
Work as part of the Newman workshop team and take direction from qualified tradespeople.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role and a forklift licence a must

What you'll get in return

This is a permanent role and will pay up to $40ph + super/penalties.
