The opportunity
Buildability Group is building a crew for a leading national contractor delivering the installation of a recent Sydney Water Pre-Treatment Plant at Horsley Park. It’s a major infrastructure project with plenty of hours on offer. Our client also has a robust pipeline of work across water, mining, energy and industrial projects, so there’s genuine scope for ongoing work once this one wraps up.

What you’ll be doing
Supporting fitters, pipe fitters and boilermakers with piping, structural steel and mechanical installation
Handling, moving and preparing materials and equipment
General site labouring, housekeeping and site setup
Working safely at heights and from EWPs as required
Following site safety procedures and helping keep the work area compliant

Rates (including $11/hr in allowances)
Labourers: $46.87/hr
Skilled TAs: $48.13/hr

You’ll bring
Experience on construction, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas,



shutdown or industrial sites
For TAs, hands-on experience assisting tradespeople on piping, steel or mechanical installs
A safety-first attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic
The ability to take direction and work well within a crew

Must have: White Card, Driver’s Licence, EWP (Yellow Card), Working at Heights

Highly regarded: Confined Space, Telehandler, Basic Rigging, CN/C6, First Aid, Silica Awareness, Fit Test
