About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Machinist to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining offset and/or flexographic printing machinery used in the manufacture of printed packaging components. The position plays a key role in ensuring consistent print quality, effective workflow and timely delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate multi-colour offset and/or flexographic printing presses.
Install plates, rollers and cylinders, and accurately adjust ink,



water balance and registration.
Monitor print quality and carry out corrective adjustments to ensure consistency.
Conduct routine machine cleaning, lubrication and minor maintenance.
Identify and troubleshoot printing and mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
Manage inks, coatings, substrates and other materials required for scheduled production.
Complete production records, machine settings and output documentation.
Work collaboratively with production, engineering, maintenance and quality teams.
Follow WHS procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Skills and Experience:
Previous experience operating commercial offset or flexographic printing machinery is essential.
Robust understanding of colour control, ink management and machine calibration.
