Home Innovations Display Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Showroom Design Consultant to join our friendly team in Frankston.

Whether you’re currently studying interior design or starting your career, this is an opportunity to turn your passion into a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to our customers.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’re looking for someone with a genuine love of design, a positive attitude and a desire to help people create homes they love.

About the role

As a Showroom Design Consultant, you’ll be the friendly face of our showroom helping customers explore ideas, discover design possibilities and find practical solutions for their homes.

No two days will be the same. You’ll combine creativity, customer service and a hands-on approach to help create an inspiring showroom experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming customers and understanding their needs, ideas and design aspirations.

- Providing thoughtful design advice and practical recommendations to suit different styles, spaces and budgets.

- Helping customers explore products, finishes, colours and design possibilities.

- Keeping the showroom organised, inviting and beautifully presented.

- Assisting with day-to-day administration and general showroom operations.





- Supporting social media content and marketing campaigns to showcase our products, projects and design inspiration.

- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and contribute to the growth of the business.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about design and enjoys working with people.

You might be an interior design student looking for hands-on industry experience or a creative person ready for a new direction, you need to be someone who loves connecting with customers.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- A genuine passion for interior design, home styling and current design trends.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships.

- A creative mindset and the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions.

- Strong organisation skills, initiative and a willingness to learn.

- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Confidence using social media, with an interest in creating engaging content and supporting marketing campaigns.

Previous showroom or design experience is welcome, but enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn are just as important.
