About the role

We're looking for an experienced, qualified carpenter or leading hand who takes genuine pride in their workmanship, demonstrates a strong work ethic and can be relied upon to get the job done efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have experience across residential and commercial construction, renovations, refurbishments and maintenance works, with the versatility to undertake a broad range of carpentry tasks.

For leading hand positions, we're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate natural leadership, robust organisational skills and the ability to coordinate trades, manage site activities, plan ahead and maintain productivity while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

- Undertake a broad range of carpentry tasks across residential and commercial construction, renovations, refurbishments and maintenance works





- Work efficiently across multiple projects and environments

- Coordinate trades, manage site activities and maintain productivity (for leading hand positions)

- Ensure quality and safety standards are met

- Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and subcontractors

About you

- Trade-qualified carpenter with relevant industry experience

- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail

- Reliable, punctual and committed to responsibilities

- Self-motivated, resourceful and capable of problem-solving independently

- Strong time management and organisational skills

- Current driver's licence and White Card

- Professional communication skills when dealing with clients, colleagues and subcontractors
