Federal Hospitality Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Administration & Dispatch Assistant to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. Based in Truganina VIC 3029 , this role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. You will be responsible for supporting both administrative functions and dispatch operations, playing a key part in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced logistics environment whilst contributing directly to our operational success.
What you'll be doing
Processing and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and attention to detail
Assisting with inventory management, including stock checks, organisation and record-keeping
Preparing dispatch documentation, including packing slips, delivery notes and shipping labels
Liaising with customers and courier services to coordinate deliveries and resolve shipping inquiries
Maintaining warehouse organisation and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and general office duties
Assisting with order picking and packing to meet dispatch schedules
Operating warehouse management systems and other relevant software
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods
A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to support colleagues
Reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced workplace
Desirable: experience with inventory management systems or familiarity with SAP, WMS will be an advantage.
