Festival season is here and this is your chance to be part of the action! We’re recruiting enthusiastic, customer-focused bar staff to help deliver unforgettable experiences at some of Brisbane’s biggest festivals.
If you’ve got a positive attitude, great energy, and a valid RSA, we want to hear from you. Successful applicants may also have the opportunity for ongoing casual work across future events at the Showgrounds.

Interview Dates

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve beverages responsibly in line with RSA standards
- Deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced setting
- Assist with bar setup, stock,
and cleanliness throughout your shift
- Operate a POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Work closely with your team to keep things running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
- Previous experience in hospitality or events (preferred but not essential)
- Availability to work weekends and evenings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and love for the festival atmosphere

The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) owns and operates the historic Brisbane Showgrounds, home of the iconic Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) and over 300 events each year. Just 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD, our 22-hectare precinct welcomes over a million visitors annually and includes the vibrant King Street dining strip and the five-star Royal International Convention Centre.
