Chemist Discount Centre Morwell is looking for several Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. We have a number of opportunities available and are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment and want to be part of a supportive community pharmacy.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll work closely with our pharmacists and retail team to provide a welcoming and positive experience for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting customers with general pharmacy and retail enquiries
- Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
- Stocking shelves and maintaining product displays
- Receiving, unpacking and rotating stock
- Helping to keep the pharmacy clean, organized and well presented
- Supporting promotions and merchandising
- Working collaboratively with the wider pharmacy team
- Following pharmacy procedures, policies and safety requirements

Hours

We’re looking for candidates who can work across our opening hours:

- Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

There are several positions available,



and hours can be discussed depending on availability and the needs of the pharmacy.

- Can work effectively in a busy retail setting
- Have good attention to detail
- Are willing to learn and develop your pharmacy knowledge
- Have flexibility to work across weekdays and Saturdays

Previous pharmacy or retail experience would be highly regarded, however candidates with a great attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
