About the role

Lumus Imaging Sandgate are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their friendly and welcoming team. This is a permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week), working shifts between 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday.

This role is primarily based at our Sandgate clinic and will also require travel to nearby sites, including Nundah and Kippa-Ring, to provide leave and operational coverage as required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service in a rapid-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries.
- Coordinate and manage medical imaging bookings for inpatient and outpatient appointments.
- Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties.




- Maintain accurate patient records and data entry with a high level of attention to detail.
- Liaise effectively with patients, medical professionals, referring practitioners, and internal teams.
- Process billing and banking tasks, including Medicare, DVA, health funds, and WorkCover transactions.

About You

- Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
