Calling all experienced Coaches who are seeking a role to work with students to contribute to development, skill enhancement and knowledge across a variety of sports!

We are now taking applications for coaches to join us throughout the 2027 school year on a casual basis. Sport Coaches are required to plan and deliver high-quality school sporting sessions. Multi opportunities before, during and after school hours.

Astheseare casual positions, you will be advised by the Director of Sport and the Sport Co-ordinator of your working arrangements.

It is a mandatory requirement for this role that you hold a current paid blue card for working with children via blue card services.

Sports coaches are required to plan and deliver high-quality school sporting sessions for multiple sports.

Coaches must be available for early morning and after school training sessions, with Saturday morning fixtures.

Somerville House offers competitive hourly rates for all qualified coaches starting from $33.00 per hour!

- Athletics/Cross Country (Coaches)
- Basketball (Coaches & Umpires)




- Cricket (Coaches)
- General (ability to coach multiple sports)
- Netball (Head Coach, coach and umpire positions available)
- Touch Football (Coaches)

These sports will be across both Andrews Cup (AC) and Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) working with our students across Years 2 - 12.
