About Us

21Captains is a growing Australian-made brand based in the Ipswich region. We make the Air Refiner, a purpose-built product for moisture and odour management, manufactured locally by a tight-knit team that takes pride in what we build.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, physically fit Production Operator to join our team on full time hours, starting ASAP. This is a hands-on, floor-based role at the heart of our manufacturing operation. You’ll work across every stage of production, and the standard matters: we’re a premium brand, and the care you put into each unit is what our customers pay for.

This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying, and decanting bags of raw materials weighing between 10 and 20kg. You must be physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive lifting and bending tasks throughout the shift.

You’ll report to our Operations Team Lead and work alongside an experienced production crew. No trade qualifications needed. Full training provided on all equipment, including our ultrasonic welder.

Key Responsibilities

- Ultrasonic welding and assembly of Air Refiner units (we’ll train you)
- Measuring and cutting raw materials to specification
- Filling and charcoal decanting operations

- Heat sealing, eyeleting, and rope cutting
- Folding, finishing, and packaging of units
- Keeping your work zone clean, organised, and safe every single day

About You

You take pride in your work. Care and accuracy are not optional here, they are the job

Honest and accountable. When something goes wrong, you own it and flag it, and we fix it together

Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling, including lifting up to 20kg

Extremely reliable and punctual

A team player who keeps their standards up whether someone is watching or not

Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred but not essential

Must have full Australian working rights. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship

What’s In It For You

- $33 to $35 per hour including casual loading, paid under the Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Associated Industries Award
- Full-time hours with a genuine pathway to a permanent role for the right person
- Variety across the full production process, not one repetitive station all day
- A small, supportive local team where your work is seen and valued
