THE ROLE:

Working closely with a Partner, you will manage your own client list from year end through to ongoing advice, with a growing share of your time spent on review and planning.

Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals





Handle tax planning conversations and technical queries with clients directly

Review work from Intermediates and Graduates and give clear, constructive feedback

Manage your own lodgement calendar and keep deliverables on schedule

Deal with the ATO on client matters as they arise

Spot advisory opportunities and bring them to the Partners

THE INDIVIDUAL:

CA or CPA qualified, or close to completing

Solid experience as a Senior Accountant in Australian public practice

Sound technical knowledge across tax compliance, including trusts and Div 7A

Comfortable owning client relationships and having commercial conversations

Organised, with the ability to review the work of others and juggle competing deadlines
