12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Parental Leave Cover)

Your role:

As a Senior Technical Officer within the Maintenance Program & Optimisation team, you'll help shape and maintain the aircraft maintenance policies, plans and technical requirements that keep the KC-30A fleet operating safely and effectively. Working across engineering, sustainment and Defence stakeholders, you'll review technical data, support maintenance program improvements and drive initiatives that enhance fleet performance and availability.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and maintaining Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP), Technical Maintenance Plans (TMP) and configuration management requirements.
- Reviewing maintenance program amendments, engineering changes and technical instructions.
- Conducting technical assessments to support maintenance optimisation and continuing airworthiness outcomes.
- Providing specialist technical advice to Defence and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contributing to the delivery of safe, reliable and mission-ready aircraft capability.

About you:
