About the Role

Local Workforce Hire is seeking an experienced Warehouse Superintendent to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team and ensure the efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on warehouse leader who understands operational efficiency, workplace safety, inventory management and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

Lead, supervise and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.

Coordinate stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse organisation.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

Monitor productivity, identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

Coordinate deliveries, dispatch schedules and transport requirements.

Maintain accurate warehouse records and operational reporting.





Work closely with management and other departments to meet business requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience managing or supervising warehouse operations.

Robust leadership and team management skills.

Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.

A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A practical, hands‑on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Forklift experience or a current forklift licence will be highly regarded.
