What You’ll Do
- Handle bank reconciliations and prepare account summary reports – multiple accounts/entities
- Proven capability in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and accurate credit card reconciliation processes
- Prepare monthly Instalment Activity Statements & Business Activity Statements for ATO
- Assist with year‑end workpapers
- Contribute to financial reporting
- Complete month‑end journals
- Assist with payroll processing and reviews – multiple entities
- End to End payroll processing experience in Xero – multiple entities
- Superannuation processing, including clearing house experience – multiple entities
- Reporting and chasing customers for payments
- Assisting the accountant where required
- Ability to work unsupervised
What You Bring
- 5+ years' experience in a bookkeeping & Payroll or similar accounting support role
- Multi-entity payroll processing experience is essential for this position
- 5+ years of experience in payroll software such as Tanda, Employment Hero, Deputy
- A positive, solutions‑focused, and adaptable mindset
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team
- A passion for learning new systems and expanding your skills
- Strong time‑management under pressure and tight deadlines
- Full Australian working rights must have
- A strong understanding of Xero accounting software
- Advanced user proficiency in Xero is required for this role
