Job Description

A.E CONSULTING ENGINEERS PTY LTD AE Group is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing structural, civil, stormwater, geotechnical, remedial and dilapidation engineering services to residential and commercial developments across New South Wales. We are seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineer who will be able to work independently or as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a great salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Plan and conduct geotechnical site investigations, including borehole drilling, soil sampling and field testing.
- Analyse soil and rock properties, groundwater conditions, bearing capacity and settlement characteristics.
- Prepare geotechnical engineering designs and recommendations for foundations, retaining walls, excavations and earthworks.




- Assess ground stability, soil movement, settlement risks and excavation conditions.
- Interpret laboratory testing results, geological information and engineering drawings.

Requirements/Skills Qualification:

- Relevant Bachelor Degree
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering and geotechnical investigation methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare technical reports.
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
