Mader is seeking an experienced Road Transport Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing East Coast operations team, with a unique prospect to initially work remotely from Sydney or elsewhere in NSW before relocating to Brisbane.

We understand that relocating interstate is a big decision. That's why we're offering the flexibility to work remotely from NSW for approximately 6–12 months , giving you time to prepare for the move. When the time comes, we'll provide relocation assistance to help you make Brisbane your new home.

You’ll take ownership of a high-performing team of Heavy Road Transport Mechanics operating across the East Coast, supported by experienced coordinators and a dedicated administration team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, building customer relationships and driving operational performance.

The Opportunity

Monday to Friday | 6am–4pm | NSW Remote Start Brisbane-Based

- Initially work remotely from Sydney or elsewhere in NSW for approximately 6–12 months.

- Relocate to Brisbane following the initial remote working period, with relocation assistance provided .

- Join our Brisbane-based operations team and contribute to the continued growth of our East Coast Road Transport division.

- Enjoy a leadership position with autonomy, strong operational support and excellent earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing

- Plan, coordinate and oversee a team of Heavy Road Transport Mechanics across NSW.

- Manage workforce allocation to meet customer demands, scheduled maintenance and breakdown requirements.

- Lead, motivate and support team members to drive performance, safety and productivity.

- Assist with recruitment, interviews,



offer negotiations and onboarding of new employees.

- Undertake regular site visits to strengthen client relationships and support employees in the field.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, employees and key stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience within the Heavy Road Transport industry.

- Previous leadership or coordination experience, ideally as a Maintenance Coordinator, Workshop Supervisor, Service Supervisor or Transport Allocator.

- Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable, but not essential).

- Strong communication, organisation and people management skills.

- A commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

- Willingness to undertake regular travel as required.

- Currently based in Sydney or elsewhere in NSW, with a genuine commitment to relocate to Brisbane after approximately 6–12 months.
