Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. This is a excellent opportunity to utilize your knowledge of network administration, technical support, and IT support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization's computer systems.

Responsibilities:

- - Provide desktop support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- - Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity for desktops and laptops
- - Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory




- - Assist with software installations and upgrades
- - Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner and provide resolution or escal as necessary
- - Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues
- - Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference

Qualifications:

- - Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- - Strong knowledge of network administration, technical support, and IT support principles
- - Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
- - Familiarity with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- - Experience with SCCM, Remedy, or ServiceNow ticketing systems is a plus
- - Knowledge of VPN technologies and remote access tools
- - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
