Fantastic opportunity to join a home grown Hospitality Saas Business helping venues serve faster and sell more.
- Sell Australian-grown ordering technology that's winning venues from incumbents
- Avg deal size around $28K ARR, 1-3-month sales cycles and a 50% close rate
- Own your Melbourne territory, working from home between F2F venue meetings
We’re partnering with a growing Australian hospitality technology business whose food-ordering platform helps venues increase order volumes, lift customer spend and deliver faster service.
This is a compelling opportunity for a new-business hunter who enjoys getting in front of customers and demonstrating a clear commercial return.
The platform is taking market share from established competitors through a combination of faster transactions, bespoke digital menus and targeted upselling. Strong customer retention supports its momentum, with significant growth expected over the coming years.
The business reports an approximately 50% close rate once the solution is demonstrated, giving a capable salesperson a solid proposition to take to market.
The opportunity
You’ll drive new customer acquisition across independent venues, larger hospitality groups and chains. This is a predominantly outbound, face-to-face sales role. You’ll identify target venues, build relationships with owners and operators, conduct discovery, demonstrate the platform and manage negotiations through to close.
You’ll own your pipeline and territory, with the flexibility to organise your schedule around prospecting, venue visits and follow-up. Typical deals average approximately $28K ARR, with sales cycles of one to three months.
What you’ll bring
You’re a proven SaaS or technology salesperson with a track record of generating your own opportunities and winning SME or mid-market customers.
Experience in hospitality technology, digital ordering, POS or payments would be particularly relevant but not essential. We’re also interested in strong SaaS hunters with comparable deal sizes and sales cycles, especially those who understand hospitality.
You’ll need:
- Confidence approaching venue owners and building relationships in person.
- Strong discovery, demonstration and consultative selling skills.
- The ability to connect product capabilities with revenue and operational outcomes.
- Ownership of the full sales cycle, supported by disciplined CRM management and forecasting.
- A Melbourne base and enthusiasm for regular customer visits.
The package
Up to $140,000 base + super + $15,000 car allowance + uncapped commission, with OTE approximately $225,000 + Super and top performers making well in excess of that number.
You’ll join a growing business with territory ownership, flexibility and a product that gives hospitality operators clear reasons to switch.
