Why consider this role?

You'll be joining a business that has grown rapidly and is now investing heavily in maturing its engineering capabilities. AWS is already in a strong position with established automation, Infrastructure as Code and delivery practices, while Azure is on a similar journey following the introduction of new landing zones. A big part of this role will be helping bring consistency across both environments and driving the next phase of platform maturity.

The role

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days simply maintaining pipelines. They're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving engineering practices and helping lift capability across a broader technology team.

You’ll be involved in:

- Maturing the Azure setting and aligning standards across both cloud platforms
- Driving security uplift and vulnerability management initiatives
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines and automation




- Working heavily with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Improving observability, monitoring and platform health visibility using Grafana
- Influencing platform and architecture decisions
- Partnering closely with Security while remaining hands-on technically
- Establishing engineering standards that support growth without creating unnecessary bureaucracy

What we’re looking for:

- Azure and AWS
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Cloud security, identity and secrets management
- Containers and cloud-native platforms
- Monitoring, observability and incident management
- PowerShell, Python or Bash

Kubernetes isn't currently in use, but it's likely to form part of the future platform direction, so experience there would be beneficial.
