About your new role

Operating under reasonable autonomy, the APS6 Planner is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to complex and sensitive participant circumstances, providing urgent and short-term safeguarding interventions under a case management model. The role provides explicit, specialised written and verbal advice, guidance, and pathway options to internal staff handling safeguarding challenges, while liaising with external entities. Additionally, the Planner interprets and applies relevant legislation, policy, and procedural frameworks, coaches and mentors staff (including supervising APS3-APS5 roles when needed), monitors workflow capacity, and leads continuous quality improvement initiatives to strengthen service delivery practices, processes, and systems
