You’d rather grow engineers than write every line yourself, but you still want your hands in the code when it counts. This role gives you both.

A Brisbane software product company needs an Software Engineering Team Lead to run one of its teams building cloud-native SaaS. You’ll work side by side with product and design, set the technical direction, and own how the team ships: small increments, robust CI/CD, real test automation, and systems that stay up.

Most of your time goes on people. You’ll coach, give honest feedback, hand out stretch work, and build a team where people raise problems early.

You’ll fit if you’ve:

- Led an agile team delivering a SaaS product against sprint goals
- Shipped production code in TypeScript/React or C#/.NET Core
- Designed and run cloud-native systems with containers, infrastructure as code and proper monitoring
- Made delivery calls with product managers, not just taken tickets from them

Time in enterprise SaaS, end user tech or another complex domain helps.
