Dental Assistant & Patient Care Coordinator

This is a varied, hands-on role combining dental assisting, reception and patient care coordination. You will be involved in different aspects of the practice, taking initiative and genuinely caring about providing an excellent patient experience.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting dentists with chairside procedures, sterilisation, infection control and ensuring surgeries run efficiently
- Welcoming patients, answering calls, managing appointments, handling enquiries and helping the day run smoothly
- Contacting patients regarding outstanding treatment, overdue appointments and recalls, and helping them organise their dental care
- Helping patients understand their treatment plans, assisting with bookings and ensuring they feel supported throughout their dental journey
- Working closely with dentists and team to improve systems, enhance the patient experience and contribute to the growth of the practices

About you

- Warm, friendly and confident communicating with patients,



both in person and over the phone
- Organised, reliable and able to multitask
- Comfortable following up with patients in a genuine, caring and professional manner
- Team player who is happy to help wherever needed
- Positive attitude and takes pride in their work
- Experience with dental practice management software is an advantage
